Since 2011, we have led the effort to protect and support the arts programs of Simi Valley schools. In the past four years, we have donated nearly $40,000 back to the city's four high schools.

Our Mission

It’s a New Day is a group of local citizens, patrons of and participants in the arts, with a passion to promote the arts in our community.  By mentoring young, local performers with experienced artists, we produce quality events in a variety of venues to raise money for the funding of worthy and local arts programs.

We want to offer opportunities to empower our students and make positive contributions to our community. It’s a New Day is a model of how to do this.
— Bonnie Graeve, choir director at Royal High School
